Thanks BOB, you are the MAN. After being on the GAP/C&O Towpath for five days, I broke my free-wheel drive component on Saturday morning, 10/07/2013. I checked my trail book and realized I was close to Bobs Bikes in Poolesville. I called BOB at 10am and he advised he could help me.

Bob and his team take care of my bike needs for all of my family. Small things like tire replacement are no problem. Big things like assembling my road racer/triathlon bike were NO problem. Bob and his team take care of my bike and all associated maintenance that I use for my sporting events. His services are as important to me as a pit crew or a NASCAR racer! Super friendly and a Navy veteran too! I never left feeling over charged or under cared for and I give a 100% endorsement to Bob and his team. I was NOT paid or given other compensation for writing this...he earned it!

I caught a ride from a guy at the trailhead and got to BOBS at 11am. He immediately began the repair and replaced the broken part with on-hand new parts for a righteous price. I was on my bike one hour later headed to the trail. I was able to finish my adventure ride into Georgetown with my riding buddies later that same afternoon. Thanks again Bob, you made my trip one to remember.......Bob advised that he concentrated on repairs on Saturdays in order to keep the bikers on the road.....Everyone should visit BOBS BIKES.

Bob's expertise and repair ability rescued my recent trip along the C&O Canal / GAP after I broke down for the second time in the day near White's Ferry. All this happened on what was the first day of a six day trip and looked like turning a great ride into a less than great walk. Bob was able to repair my frame, replace my back derailleur, chain and gear shifter and get me back onto the road in time to catch up with my companions in Shepardstown later that evening. All this happened on a Sunday afternoon (after official closing time) and was all done with a quiet expertise and friendliness. The bike behaved perfectly for the rest of the trip which ended in Pittsburgh the following Friday. All thanks to Bob.

I was on a 100 mile bike ride to Harper's ferry today and had second flat of the day near poolesville. Bob quickly fixed the tire, and sent me on my way. The same thing happened last year on a century and bob cane to the rescue. He's a knowledgeable guy with a great sense of humor. Saved two of long my rides!

If you are in trouble I would have no hesitation in recommending a trip to Bob.

Bob did a terrific job on my Bionx kit installation. It's worth the drive to go see him.
